		+	Im Rahmen der Abschlussveranstaltung des Weltkongresses für Bibliotheken und Information in Astana, Kasachstan, wurde am 21. August 2025 der sog. „Dynamic Unit and Impact Award“ an ENSULIB für ihre herausragenden Beiträge zur Förderung umweltfreundlicher und nachhaltiger Bibliothekspraktiken verliehen. So vergab ENSULIB den „2025 Green Library Award“, reichte einen Entwurf für die ersten globalen Richtlinien für grüne Bibliotheken ein und initiierte ein Buchprojekt zum Thema „Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung“. Das aktive Kommunikationsteam, regelmäßige Webinare und ein halbjährlicher Newsletter haben das globale Engagement gestärkt. Durch Kooperationen, Übersetzungen und die weltweite Vertretung auf Konferenzen inspiriert ENSULIB den Bibliotheksbereich weiterhin, sich für Klima, Gerechtigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit einzusetzen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an die Sektion und Dank an die beteiligten Kolleg*innen, u.a. auch an die deutsche Mentorin der Sektion, Petra Hauke.
