Mit normaler Fotoausrüstung und einem Weitwinkelobjektiv lassen sich Landschaften, markante Gebäude oder Städte zusammen mit dem Sternenhimmel in Szene setzen. Aufnahmen durch Teleskope sind wie Fotografie mit großen Teleobjektiven. Sie zeigen eindrucksvolle Details </ins>am <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Himmel</ins>, <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">die sich dem bloßen Auge verschließen</ins>.<ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Der Bogen der Bilder spannt sich von Polarlichtern und dem Mond zu den Sternen, die ihre nächtliche Bahn am Himmel ziehen</ins>. <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Es gibt Aufnahmen von Kometen und von Sternhaufen</ins>, <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Gasnebeln und Dunkelwolken in unserer eigenen Galaxis, der Milchstraße.
