Der 1986 verstorbene Schriftsteller Jorge Luis Borges hat keinen Roman hinterlassen, dafür aber Sammelbände mit Kritiken, Gedichten und Erzählungen. Vor allem mit den Erzählungen erlangte er Weltruhm.
